Sous-Vide Steak Ingredients and Cooking Instructions

 



Ingredients:

  • Steak (e.g. ribeye, sirloin, or filet)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter or oil (optional)
  • Herbs or spices (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Season steak with salt, pepper, and any additional herbs or spices you desire.
  2. Place steak in a vacuum-sealed bag or a zip-top bag with as much air removed as possible.
  3. Set sous-vide machine to desired temperature (e.g. 130°F for medium-rare).
  4. Place bag in the water bath and let cook for 1-4 hours, depending on desired doneness.
  5. Remove steak from the bag and pat dry with paper towels.
  6. Sear in a hot pan with butter or oil (optional) for 1-2 minutes on each side to add a crust.
  7. Rest steak for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
